Snowshoeing in the Pyrenees
On the coldest weekend of the year we went to the Catalan Pyrenees and did a for hour snowshoeing hike. Despite the bitter cold it was a great fun experience.

Roca Centella
A cloudy-day hike in the Montseny Natural Park together with a couple of friends. We set off from Figaró and headed for La Garriga along the PR C-33 short distance path — with a mid-way detour to the top of Roca Centella (1001m).

Taga Núria — Part III
A 5 hour hike to several peaks along the border between Spain and France, starting and terminating in Vall de Núria — crossing various peaks between Pic de Noufonts and Pic de Núria.

Taga Núria — Part II
It was 6:59:59 AM in the quiet Pyrenees town of Ribes de Freser. The soothing sounds of the River Freser flowed through the town — accompanied with an occasional tweet from an insomniac night owl typing fervidly on their smart phone. Suddenly the tranquility of countryside was disturbed by the crowing of a rooster.

Taga Núria — Part I
A 6 hour hike back and forth between the town Ribes de Freser in the Catalan Pyrenees to the summit of Taga (2038m). The track is technically easy but is steep at times.

Ruins and donkeys
We started our hike at the Sant Marti Centelles train station heading for an easy four hour hike with ruins and donkeys. It turned out to be longer than expected.

Lost in Ripollés
A return hike from Campdevànol to Sant Julià de Saltor. The hike included an extended detour due to presumed tricking by cows or humans.

A nice and easy hike from the town Campdevànol in the Catalan pre-pyrenees to the the church called Església de Sant Pere d’Aüira.
